The London College of Fashion graduate, Anderson who is known for his knitwear designs. Is looking forward to opening his designs up to a broader audience. "It gives me the opportunity to reach a much wider audience with my designs. It has always been very important to me that my collections are made accessible to anyone interested in fashion and design."
The two have worked together in the past, with Anderson creating a t-shirt for the tenth anniversary celebration of the Topshop brand's NEWGEN initiative. However this will be his first high street ready to wear collection.
Over the past few years we have seen significant rise in the number of designer/high street brands collaborating together with huge success. With some drawing hoards of shoppers with some serious dedication that are willing to camp outside the store eager to get in and grab their hauls before anyone else.
This particular collaborative pair have been working on a capsule collection for the Topshop brand that is expected to be in stores this September, with a follow up collection planned for early 2013.
The range will comprise of denim, knits, jersey and outerwear. In addition to the clothing line; the collection will also feature fun objects such as vintage magazines, photography books, stylish rubik's cubes, pencils and memory sticks.
This partnership will no doubt be another high street sell out, so if you go nutty for knitwear, get your pennies saved up and get in there quick.!!
BTW- Is this a collection that your excited about??
