Ever since Pantone announced radiant orchid as the color of 2014, I had been on the lookout for ways to incorporate this hue into my current wardrobe. Coincidentally before the big announcement, I had bought this shirt, that happens to echo the color of 2014. I was overjoyed at my fashion forwardness and to express this ecstatic state of my mind, I had to wear it today.
As I am on a self-proclaimed mission to get more wear of the older clothing pieces in my closet ( the jacket in this case ) by mixing n matching them with newer pieces, I picked out this wool blend blazer that lay hanging at one corner of my closet.
A big shout out to the mix of boyfriend distressed denim and girlfriend fitted blazer. I am always smitten by how well the two opposites blend. The pink and blue from my outfit contrast well against the snowy white sidewalk. Don't worry about my open toes, I had my boots in my car boot, waiting to enjoy the snow, that happened soon after the photo shoot. Trust me, I couldn't brave the cold any longer than the 5 min photo-shoot. They seemed the longest.See what all I have to do for you guys, I love you all that much!
