So on my way round Boots, I couldn't walk past the Seventeen make-up brushes without stopping and picking them up. They were a bargain at £6.00 and I've heard some good things about them too. I very nearly bought the Seventeen ultimate beauty essentials but I already had the eye shadow pallet and really only needed brushes. I was amazed I walked past Soap & Glory without buying anything but I'm waiting for that bath set to come in! I headed over to New Look and grabbed a new top for a fiver, another cheap little bargain and then I went over to House of Fraser where I was enticed by all the shoes!
I couldn't walk past these beautiful Chelsea Boots without at least trying them on; it would be plain and simple wrong! I've been wanting a pair for absolutely ages and when I saw that they were £43.00 instead of £65.00, and I had Christmas money burning a hole in my purse, I couldn't resist and oh my goodness they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned...seriously, they're as comfy if not comfier than my Toms which are literally slippers!
So I didn't break the bank too much on this little boxing day shopping trip but I do have another trip soon to a much bigger city so we will see how my bank account likes it then! Before today, I'd never been boxing day sales shopping and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it because normally I'm not the biggest fan if it's super busy but there was such a buzz it was hard not to get caught up in the hysteria a bit. What are you're thoughts on the boxing day sales? Love them or loath them?
