My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I received a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for my unbiased and honest review.

Complicit is a complex psychological suspense novel. Jaime Henry is having problems. He is a 16 year old who has very little recollection of what his life was like in the past. His sister, Cate, is considered as a black sheep and has been in jail for some things she has done.

Cate is now out of jail and is after her brother. Jaime is feeling extremely paranoid and is keen to fill the gaps in his memory about his past. Cate knows all the secrets -- even those Jaime is not supposed to know. The question is; is Jaime ready to find out what those secrets are?

Cate is not as crazy as she seems; or is she? She taunts, teases, and manipulates her brother. Jaime tries to stay away from her but is also eager to know about his past.

The book is exciting to read and the ending is pretty wicked. I enjoy a good psychological thriller and I certainly had a good time reading this one. A good thriller.
