I received a copy of the book through NetGalley in exchange for my unbiased and honest review.
The story of Charm Offensive is about a retired politician Joe Street who tries to resurrect his image and his relationship with his family. But things are not so easy, nor rosy. Joe is finding it difficult to have real life go according to plan.
The story is pretty slow to develop and in the first few chapters, it can take a lot of effort to keep reading. It does not help that the story is rather depressing.
However, Joe Street's journey towards redemption can prove to be a good read for a lot of book lovers.
