Bollywood veteran actor Jeetendra has turned 71 today. Born as Ravi Kapoor on April 7th, 1942 in Amritsar, the actor is popularly known as the ‘Jumping Jack’ of Bollywood for his unique dancing style.
His career in Bollywood spanned for almost three decades (1960s – 1990s) – the period in which he was frequently paired with the best actresses such as Sridevi, Jaya Bachchan and Jaya Prada.
Jeetendra is married to Shobha Kapoor and has two children – Ekta Kapoor and Tusshar Kapoor. The 71 year old actor is the chairman of Balaji Telefilms, Balaji Motion Pictures and ALT Entertainment. His daughter Ekta Kapoor is a well-known TV and Film producer whereas son Tusshar Kapoor is a well-known Bollywood actor.
