An Air France 777 touches down on runway 28L at SFO. This aircraft wears the revised 2019 “Eurowhite” livery, which reinstated the practice of eventually naming of each aircraft (this one is still unnamed). Air France was the launch customer for the -300ER and operates 43 of them in their fleet. First flown in 1994, the 777 is the world’s largest twinjet and utilizes the largest-diameter turbofan engines of any aircraft. The 777-300ER features raked and extended wingtips, a strengthened fuselage and wings and a modified main landing gear. The -300ER is the best-selling 777 variant with more than 800 delivered.
