It seems I got a little over excited when I saw the surf cam this morning! When I parked in Bracklesham Bay car park, I eagerly got out of my car. Face full of wind. Hmmm, a strong on-shore wind, not a great sign. Still, I went to have a look at the state of the sea. Messy, small, unsurfable.
Damn it, damn it all to hell.
On a whim, instead of heading west on the a27 back to Hayling, I headed east, to Brighton. Nothing happening there either. As luck would have it, the wind that the breaks at Brighton usually need are south-westerly. Today? south-easterly. Starting to get really bad bodyboard withdrawl pains now, it’s been over a month since I last surfed!
