Sheer dressing. I can't help but dig this trend. There is something so cheeky and non-accidental about it. It is peeking with permission. I especially love how Dunedin's own Charmaine Reveley has used this look in her new collection. See the picture of the real model below for a more modern, polished version of this look. But you all know me, I like it vintage and romantic. The beauty of this dress is you can make it what you want it to be. For those of you who don't feel brave enough to wear the little nude body suit underneath, wear a short slip instead. Note, a lady must be careful when attempting such trends, it should be subtle and powerfully feminine, not an eyesore. Check out Char's sight (link below) to see examples of sheer dressing done with complete class.
I added a duck face selfie in at the bottom for you...because everyone loves the duck face ? (cough). The roses were a gift from my Edie-Mae. What better way to immortalise them.
As it has been a romantic couple of weeks here on Sweet Apple, I'm rolling with the theme and have popped a song in below that was sent to me by a beautiful human. Listen and savour every soulful moment. For a review of Gary Clark Jr.'s album Blak and Blu that I wrote earlier in the year, click this link Seduced by Gary.
