What a lovely weekend It's been in NYC!Saturday was perfect weather.. sun was shining, slight breeze and clear blue skiesAnd this worked out well....because It's the weekend that cherry blossom trees are at their peak bloomWahoo!
We (Me and Peter)went along to Roosevelt Island as I heard they had a really nice blossom tree lined walk by the river.
And so they did!!
I've never actually ventured across to Roosevelt since I moved here, I wasn't really sure what was even there LOL.
The answer mostly tourists and basically no shops...BUT the blossom walk was very beautiful!
It was amazing when the wind blew and the petals flew off the trees like confetti.Such a cool moment which even the best camera couldn't fully capture

Belt is thrifted. In an earlier post I mentioned I thrift basically all my belts! because you get a decent unique leather belt for around $5 This one has little silver charms on it.. so cute!
I also wore a lace bralet under the romper from victoria's secret.
I had such a lovely time at the cherry blossom festival!Deffo something to do after work if you can make it there in the next few days (before all the petals fly off the trees)
