George at Asda recently sent me a selection of their Maternity wear to try which was perfect timing as most of my pre-pregnancy tops are now getting way too small to even stretch over my bump!
I ordered this pack of 2 3/4 sleeved tops just as basics, the black is the top I have on above and it's a great staple piece and a good length. Over the top I have the Aztec print wrap which isn't technically maternity but I have found it a great piece when pregnant. It adds another layer when it's chilly but doesn't make me overheat. I also love how it isn't clingy or tight for the days when I feel huge and don't want to 'show off' my bump.
I really needed a new pair of maternity bottoms as I only have one pair that are comfortable. I was worried these Jeggings wouldn't be as comfortable or as well fitting as my more expensive maternity jeans but I was pleasantly surprised! The over the bump band is a good height and doesn't dig in and they fit nicely in all the right areas.
This is the polka dot top that came in the pack of two, again another great everyday top to wear with my jeans.
I also got 2 blouses that are slightly more dressier; the patterned top and embellished neck top. Both fit really nicely, drape over the bump and look great with the jeggings. I think both of them are quite suitable for the Christmas season because of the colours and styles so I will probably be wearing them to any Christmas meals or parties we go too!
I'm always a bit unsure about ordering online as the sizings can vary, especially with maternity wear but I am please to say everything fits really well (I got most things in a size 8 for reference) and everything was a great price point so I'd definitely recommend George at Asda for affordable yet stylish maternity wear.
