This previous Sunday was a fabulous one. Kristyn from First Impressions and I finally had our first blogger play date which was entirely too fun! We spent the morning at Drybar which by the way is totally worth it (see my post about the experience tomorrow.) After our hair was full of volume and curls, we headed out to find the perfect spot to shoot some outfit pictures for the inevitable post that would follow our bloggers' day out. Of course we stumbled upon the most gorgeous and dainty house front, with ivy growing over the entire thing. As it turned out, that was the perfect picture place. But seriously isn't the house front the cutest thing? We of course had to go by Dean & Deluca for lunch (p.s. it was BOTH of our first times and we will definitely be going back!) And I was able to see Cathy of Poor Little It Girl, who also happens to be one of my two fabulous internship bosses for Southern Blog Society. Of course we both have fabulous taste in shoes. Doesn't she look just darling in her midi skirt? We topped the day off at Olivia Macaron where we enjoyed some sweet treats. Stay tuned for a post on THAT experience later on the blog. Needless to say, I'm obsessed; both with Georgetown and the sweet little macaron shop off of M Street. This was the first of many soon to be blogger play dates with Kristyn. We both agree that Drybar is the perfect place to go if you want to pamper yourself a little bit and get the bounce your hair deserves! xoBCCLifestyle Magazine
