Blog Star Sunday: Rajalakshmi of ' Indian Polish Manaic'

 This week's Blog Star is Rajalakshmi of 'Indian Polish Maniac'. As the name suggests, she is a huge fan of nail polishes. Dont beleive me???!!! then check out her blog right here. I wish like at least 1/10th of her talents when it comes to doing my nails. I totally suck at it :( Enough about me, here is a description of her and her blog in her own words:
" I am Rajalakshmi, also known among friends as Raji. I am from Chennai, India. I am a Company Secretary by profession. My keen interest towards makeup led me to create this personal blog where I can voice my opinions on makeup, beauty and other general topics.
My wardrobe comprises mostly of salwar kameez, chudidar kurthis, jeans kurthis etc with loads of junk jewelry as i am more comfortable in sporting ethnic style.
I am friendly, carefree and a hopeless romantic.  " Here is chance to get to know her through these questions:

• Lipstick or Lipgloss?

I was a lipstick person earlier but now I am completely swooned by the MUA power pouts.

• Liquid liner or Gel liner?

That’s a difficult question. I alternate between gel liners and liquid liners.

• Neutral or colorful eye shadows?

I am a newbie when it comes to eye shadows so I am just experimenting with neutral ones. Just to play safe.

• Nails: Bright or Darks?

As of now bright ones. But I love playing with them a lot.

• Fashion: Studs or Dangly Earrings?

Studs make me look aged IMO so I always go for dangly earrings.

• Fashion: Heels or Flats?

I am a very clumsy person. So keeping my safety and the by-standers safety in mind, I always go for flats.

• Hair: Curly or Straight?

I love straight hair very much. It’s a dream for me. (Am too scared for straightening mine)

• Vampire or Werewolf?

If the vampire sparkles then he definitely gets my vote.

• Fashion: Ethnic or Western?

Ethnic.

• Bold Lips or Bold Eyes?

Bold eyes with lots of kohl.

• Current Face wash

Neutrogena Oil free Acne Wash.

• Moisturizer you use

Neutrogena oil-free moisture.

• Your HG foundation.

I don’t call it my HG but I like it and it’s my current favorite foundation. Lotus Pure Stay in hazelnut star.

• Your opinion of fake lashes.

They look very good but I don’t find them practical. I tried them once and in the middle of the conversation it loosened up in one eye.

• Favorite T.V series.

I am not a TV person. I enjoy shuffling the channels.

• If you have Rs50,000/- what would you spend it on? Clothes or makeup?

I would spend on clothes. I can never bring myself to put so much money on makeup.

• How old were you when you started wearing makeup.

20 years. I was a late bloomer with respect to makeup.

• Do you still watch cartoons?

Yes I love watching them.

• Are you a follower of trends?

Nope.

• Concerned social or environmental causes.

Educating under privileged female children and caring for the underprivileged and deserted elders. As I have just started my career I am not doing anything great for these causes apart from financing the education expenses for a single female child and contributing regularly/helping as and when I get time in the local old-age home.
