My mom has always loved gardening. From ten-foot-tall corn stalks to flowers planted solely to attract butterflies, her tiny, suburban backyard has been a thriving habitat for flora and fauna alike. I sat in this very backyard yesterday, enjoying some relaxation in admiring humming birds zoom and butterflies float. There is a section of the garden planted with milkweed and other bright flowers dedicated to attracting monarch butterflies. As time goes by, little striped caterpillars morph into butterflies with wings painted with vibrant orange and black. I was inspired by this striking color combination and decided to share that inspiration with you. I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!
