Hello Monday! It’s getting to be Summer time so that means the weekends are flying by! I’m SO glad it did because I had one cranky Princess on my hands to deal with while also dealing with mild food poisoning. Thank goodness it wasn’t as bad as last time! You would think I would learn my lesson with said establishment, but I had a temporary lapse in judgment {boy am I paying for it now!!}. How was your weekend?
Did you catch the Billboard Music Awards last night? It was a mixed bag for me. It made the hubs & I want to go back to Vegas SO bad! This was our conversation:
Me: “You’re itching to go Vegas now, aren’t you?”
Hubs: ” I wish we were there NOW! Think of all of the famous people you would run into that would be way better than One Apollo ono, anton no-no, wtf was his name?!”
Me: “Apolo Anton Ohno?? He’s an athlete not a space shuttle!!” LOL!!
**Backstory: Last time we were in Vegas, I was 14 weeks pregnant & just found out we were having a girl {you know I brought back a bunch of pink from Caesar’s & the Outlets!!}. We went & had one of these amazing concoctions

at Serendipity 3 & Apolo Anton Ohno came in unnoticed at first. I recognized him immediately because of DWTS & the Subway commercials but didn’t make a scene. Then some chick whipped out her phone, asked for a pic & off he went! He’s super short in person! My only celeb encounter thus far.**
Ok enough rambling.
I still can’t believe the major celebs had to sit in folding chairs!!

Pitbull & Christina Aguilera performing “Feel this Moment” & then performing “Take on Me” with A-HA
I thought she looked great! She needs to stay this weight! Curvy but not bulging out everywhere & not Genie in a Bottle stick thin.

On to Mani Monday!
I’m pretty obsessed with nail decals right now. There are so many fun prints & certain ones last up to 10 days for me with a top coat every other day. I’m loving that the trend is spreading like wild fire because that means a HUGE selection & more affordable prices! YAY!
This week I am wearing CALA Nail Strips in Hot Pink Glitter {$3 at our local Trees & Trends}
I should have never went to their site! Now there’s a TON of designs I want! I’ll take all of the Metallics, Glitter, Polka Dots & Decor designs like yesterday please!
It looked super glittery initially, but after I put the top coat on, it turned into more of a matte, “Caviar” look {Which I dig!}.
Normally when I wear nail decals, I just file the excess strip off. These started to flake like crazy so I ended up using cuticle scissors to trim the excess & I think I have found a new method I like better! Much easier to control!
