So this past week has been pretty crazy busy for me, and I felt the need to take in as much me time as possible. Guess what I got to do though?
Yah! I volunteered at the Billabong Design for Humanity fashion show! And where was it at? Inside Paramound Studios. SO much fun.
Thousands of people were there for Billabong’s annual charity fashion show, including a few celebs. I worked for a couple hours and got to play the rest of the time. Everyone was super dressed up and looked so lovely (I need to stay away from malls now or else I will be tempted to buy everything I saw and liked). There were concerts, art shows, food trucks, celebs, and of course, a fashion show debuting Billabong’s new line of bikinis (not appropriate). I wish I’d brought my camera, but like an idiot I did not. I only had my phone, which died an hour in. Hopefully I’ll get some emailed to me and will be able to show you guys the awesomeness.
Anywho, I came back and saw that the lovely Nikki from Chanel Wears had nominated me for something called the One Lovely Blog Award. Thanks, girl!

- I’ve lived in five different countries (4 continents!) so far. I was bitten by the travel bug years back and I don’t think the desire to visit different parts of the world will ever escape my heart. Although in the future I will be a lot smarter about things. Have you ever tried crossing an African country’s border by foot with the wrong visa? Not good times.

- Recently, I came to the realization that I am an extrovert. It’s a shocker because I always associate myself with the shy, mousy, awkward girl in high school.
- I think lampposts are romantic. Which explains why I loved Venice so much. And Paris.
- I get lost in unfamiliar places. All the time. It never fails. And yet I refuse to put down money for a GPS. *sigh* We are our own worst enemies sometimes.
