Bigjigs Wooden Toy Fast Food Meal Review from Butterflies and Dragons

Butterflies and Dragons have kindly sent us a Bigjigs Wooden Toy Fast Food Meal for Ms C to review.  She was very excited when she saw this wooden fast food set.  It immediately drew her attention and she loves playing with it.Butterflies and Dragons is a UK based family business retailing wooden and traditional toys.  Since launching in 2006 Butterflies and Dragons has established itself as one of the UK's premier online toy shops specialising in wooden and traditional toys.  This success has been driven by its huge range of toys, fun buying process and a customer service ethos more akin to a traditional high street toy shop than an online retailer.This wooden food toy includes:

• a wooden tray
• a can of cola with straw in situ
• a tomato ketchup
• a chilli sauce
• 5 french fries with pouch
• a burger includes a slice of cheese, a piece of lettuce, a slice of tomato, beef patty and bun.

This is suitable for aged 3 plus.  They are great for role play and it is perfectly sized to suit all types of toy kitchens. I am very impressed with the great quality of the wooden toy food.  Each item is perfectly smooth to touch.  The colours/paint on the wooden toys are very radiant and bright.The can of cola come with a non-removable straw.  Ms C wanted to bite it to drink it so I would take care with this with young children.  The wooden can is quite heavy and solid.  The fries pouch is made from fabric that is very nicely sewn and fits all 5 french fries.  The ketchup and chilli sauce are made from whole pieces of wood with red non-toxic coating on it. 
As for the burger, the cheese, lettuce and tomato are made from soft materials.  In the middle of each burger content is a Velcro square that holds all the parts of the burger together.  They can be randomly place.  The beef and the bun are made from wood.  Overall, this is a great set made with great quality materials.  I would recommend them if you have a little chef at home.  It is a great play set for role play.
