Last Friday evening, Raymond Lee Jewelers had the opportunity to attend Big Dog Ranch Rescue’s Drink, Dine & Disco fundraiser at the lovely Jupiter Beach Resort.
Big Dog Ranch Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization devoted to saving the lives of unwanted pets. They provide great care for dogs, of all breeds, until they are adopted to the right homes. Big Dog Ranch Rescue is associated with the Weimaraner Rescue & Adoption of Florida, and is located in Wellington.

Raymond Lee Jewelers is a huge supporter of this cause, thanks to the involvement of Julia Josephson. Julia has been volunteering for BDRR for the past two years, and is certified to rescue dogs in need from kill shelters. Julia also conducts home inspections, to ensure that every BDRR dog finds a loving forever home that’s just the right fit.
The event, attended by dog-lovers of the Palm Beaches – in full disco attire – was a hugely entertaining night that benefitted this very deserving cause.
Sweet puppies up for adoption greeted party-goers, and mixed and mingled with the guests during cocktail hour.
BDRR kicked off the evening with plenty of delicious appetizers, cocktails, and an entire casino set-up, replete with Black Jack, roulette and slot machines.
As guests awaited the evening’s programming to start, they perused the silent auction items, including this ring and these Oficina Bernardi earrings, donated by Raymond Lee Jewelers.
The dinner portion of the event kicked off with dancing, which some of the night’s littlest guests took full advantage of.
The evening’s program included heartfelt stories about the hard work that BDRR does for these dogs, a dog parade of all of the adoptable pets, and finally an exciting live auction.
