Big Bash League 2012-13 Schedule

Big Bash League 2012-13 will start on December 7, 2012 in Australia. The final of lucrative T20 tournament is scheduled on January 19, 2013.

The format of eight-team city-based competition has been modified this season and there won’t be any groups unlike last year. The tournament will consist of 35 matches. Each team will play seven games and top four teams on the points table will qualify for the knock-out stage.

The eight teams participating in the tournament are Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Thunder and Sydney Sixers.

Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars will come head-to-head at Docklands Stadium to kick-off the tournament.

Big Bash League 2012-13 is the second edition of Australia’s premier domestic competition. Sydney Sixers had been emerged victorious of the inaugural season of tournament.
