Okay, so I guess most "artists" don't sing anymore huh? I mean there were a bunch of performances and hardly anyone just sang without a track underneath them, or at all. Loved that Kid Rock called everyone out on it, even though I'm pretty sure he had something other than coffee in that mug. He was right. Here's what I thought of the rest of the show...in bullet point format of course.
- Bruno Mars opened the show with "Let Me Treasure You". I Love Bruno Mars...the epitome of cool if you ask me.
- Wayne "Plastic Man" Newton in the audience...he looks older than 71 even with the work
- Tracy Morgan's jacket looked like Long Island 80's dining room wallpaper (no disrespect)
- Shania Twain introducing Best Rap Artist...odd choice, but loved her dress.
- Best Rap Artist-Nicki Minaj. Was she worthy of a standing O?
- Tracy Morgan must think that if he just yells really loud people will be able to understand him. Didn't work last night. (I wish I didn't understand him during his stand-up routine last Monday night-he was repulsive)
- Selena Gomez was TOTALLY lip syncing while attempting a Bollywood number complete with forehead bling, which she sort of pulled off.
- Jennifer Nettles looked odd in her shiny pink prom dress
- The Band Perry's pretty decent, but I'm easily swayed by 70's hair and anything with fringe
- Carly Rae Jepson's got an inny in case you care.
- LOVE Icono Pop's insane shoes and their ability to dance in them.
- Psy's still riding the "Gangnam Style" wave and batted Tracy Morgan for oddest dance moves
- It seemed like Chris Brown was supposed to lip sync but some of his poor vocals seeped through...maybe his mike was left on or something?
- Alyssa Milano and Avril Lavigne presented Top Digital Song to Carly Rae Jepsen and her inny. Someone needs to tell Avril that the heavy black eye makeup is no longer working for her.
- Hayden Panatierre's a b*itch even though she's gorgeous.
- Mackelmore and Ryan Lewis sang "Thrift Shop" and not the new ceiling song...I'm sorta sick of Thrift Shop already. I did love Mackelmore's nutcracker jacket...is that actually from a Thrift Shop? I'm shopping at the wrong places.
- Best Rap Song went to "Thrift Shop"
- Taylor Swift sang "22" in a rainbow/unicorn T-Shirt backstage and headed into the arena. Good camera work, that guy had to be nauseous. Gotta admit that performance was impressive.
- Florida Georgia Line guys were present and brought out Kasey Musgraves who didn't lip sync and was pretty good. I didn't think she would be a nose ring chick, but she pulled it off.
- Madonna honored as Top Touring artist and she came out in a cougary outfit with crazy "pretentious" sunglasses. I'm glad even she busted herself and took them off. She looked pretty damn good...remember she's 54!
- I'm not positive I know who Arianna Grande is...at first I thought it was a new drink at Starbucks, but she's a cute young girl who introduced Justin Bieber.
- So Bieber's still sporting those weird droopy pants and he's still not singing. For someone who always wants to prove he can sing...I'd think he'd attempt to NOT lip sync.
- Emmy Rossum and Jason Derulo presented Top Album to Taylor Swift for "Red"
- Pit Bull and a VERY slimmed down Xtina Aguilera performed, guess we know what she's been doing while she's been away from Adam and Blake.
- OMG I was explaining to my son that the riff in the Pit Bull/Xtina song was from Ah-Ha's "Take on Me" and right at that moment the lead singer came out and everyone sang the song.
- Miley Cyrus and her very crazy, very sparkly outfit, showed up to tell us that she has a new single and that's why she's presenting best Male Artist to Justin Bieber.
- Justin and his very droopy pants, and very droopy shirt accepted his award.
- Emma from Once Upon a Time, Jennifer Morrison, had quite a sexy rocker outfit on.
- There were smoke and lighting issues during Miguel's performance, but it did look like he killed or knocked someone out when he was stage hopping. He kept right on singing thought.
- Chloe Morets looks very familiar and introduced the very unattractive but very talented Ed Sheerhan who sang the "Lego House" song...and HE SANG! No lip syncing.
- Nolan from Revenge looked amazing!
- Pitbull is friends with everyone...second performance was with JLo and her red rhinestone body suit with furry red sleeves...I wish I could pull that off...she sure did. She was awesome and of course there was Taylor and Selena dancing in the front row
- I knew what EDM was (In case you don't it's Electronic Dance Music). I knew Kelly Rowland too, but no idea who Austin was. They presented David Guetta with Top EDM Artist. Didn't know he was French.
- Will I. Am borrowed a pair of those Bieber pants for his duet with Justin. He didn't look as lame.
- Jenny McCarthy annoys the crap out of me but she looked really good.
- CeeLo was wearing either really short pants or really long shorts...no clue. He and some contest winner presented the Milestone Award for Musical Ingenuity and Innovation to Bieber for inventing some crazy pants. Justin got booed and I think he was high...at least he looked high to me when he took those sunglasses off and sounded desperate when asking the audience to be taken seriously. Here's my advice: Take a few years off. Stop tweeting, stop Instagramming. Just stop everything. Go grow up, rest, get some plain old jeans and chill. Come back when you are 24 or 25 with an album that proves you can sing and then...maybe...you'll get some respect. For now, you're just overexposed. It's too much AND you aren't innovative so that's why you were booed
- Celine Dion looked crazzzzy skinny, but I haven't seen her in a while. She presented Billboards Artist of the Year to Taylor Swift, boy Selena must have been torn...Bieber or Taylor what's a girl to do?
- At least Taylor can make fun of herself, telling the fans that "they are the longest and best relationship she's ever had".
- Nicki Minaj and Little Wayne performed "High School" and then Nicki gave Wayne a lap dance and us a view of her butt. Glad that happened after 10 when Dylan fell asleep.
- Erykah Badu and Janelle Monae presented Prince with the Icon award. Badu is an odd looking woman.
- Prince performed a version of "Lets Go Crazy" and he can still rock. Oh...and he sang, no lip syncing for him!
Dani finally made it to Chile to join her husband on tour and she has some work to do. She has such good taste in clothing that you would think she would tell Kevin and his brothers that the tank top thing really isn't working for them. Last season it was Kevin in the tank tops this season both Nick and Joe have been wearing them and they're not working, not at all. I can tell they work out, if that's the goal, but neither one of them can pull off the tank top. Dani also needs to tell her brother Mikey that the suspenders/bow tie combo really...REALLY has to go. It's terrible.
Nurse Jackie So I'm guessing that the new blond doctor, never really graduated medical school? I mean she's really, really clueless, doesn't seem like she knows what she's doing and keeps sleeping with Coop so he'll do her job for her. Something bad's going to happen...it's coming. Jackie and Kevin punished Grace which was the right thing to do after finding her on the highway in the middle of the night. Cruz was back for his exit interview and to see Jackie, but she was cool and blew out her hair and kissed him (and hopefully Charlie) goodbye for good. Then, she went back to the cop. I love this guy. I hope it works out, but their kiss seemed weird to me. Then you have poor old Eddie who's going the friend route and hearing all the details that the "friend" hates hearing about. Poor guy, worse comes to worse, I'm sure he can find a pill to take somewhere.
I didn't see Game of Thrones yet...I'll check it out tonight. Promise.

-Yahoo's got lots of dough! I wonder how many shiny silver suitcases Marissa Mayer schlepped over to Tumblr when she paid them the 1.1 billion in cash?
-Last night was the YouTube Comedy Week Kick-Off and I had it on my laptop but didn't really pay attention to it. I didn't see it break 100K views at any point during the night. Anyone tune in at all?
-I loved Amazon's idea to let users chose the pilots for the company to produce. I watched um all and I even voted. Unfortunately one of the ones I liked, Zombieland didn't do so well and won't be going into production. I'm actually surprised by this, it was really one of the stronger shows they offered up. I hope the Mark Consuelos/John Goodman political one, Alpha House gets the green light, that one was really good and...it had the super hot, Mark Consuelos in it!
For those of you that actually enjoyed Don't Trust the B in Apt 23 and were totally bummed that it was cancelled (are there that many of you? I bet not.) Good news! All of the unaired episodes are available online in various locations. So feel free to hunt them down. If you need help, let me know, I'll guide you in the right direction.
