He becomes poor who works with a lazy hand, but the hand of the diligent brings wealth.  Proverbs 10:4
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.   1 Timothy 6:10
For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it? The LORD makes poor, and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up.  1 Samuel 2:7
Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be haughty, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy; that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to communicate; laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold of that which is truly life.  1 Timothy 6:17-19
He who loves silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he who loves abundance, with increase: this also is vanity  Ecclesiastes 5:10
If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor; neither shall you charge him interest.  Exodus 22:25
Honor the LORD with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase: so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.  Proverbs 13:9-10
Better is a little that the righteous has, than the abundance of many wicked.  Psalms 37:16
