Look of the Day – Feeling fruity fresh in this lemon/polka dot number sent all the way from Seoul, Korea. I wouldn’t have picked it out but after a quiet debate with myself, I am open to try this midi thing. After all, fruity prints are all over the blogosphere and shopping sites. So, what do you think about the print?

When life gives you lemons, Wait.. Life never gave us lemons, not literally at least. I almost gave in to the thought of making it a title but it’s too darn obvious. You know me, I wouldn’t want my titles to be such a giveaway (albeit that’s always the case). There’s only one song that comes in mind today, it’s from Jack Johnson. True enough, life seems to be better (also easier) when we have someone to share it with, a confidant or just someone you can talk for hours without feeling eerie whatever topic you may talk about.
Meanwhile, the song “Lemon Tree” keeps playing in my head whenever I see this set of photos. Where’s the tequila? See what I did there? Lol!
Now I know it is a bit too formal for my taste but with the unique print, fitted silhouette, and the shoulder pads, I will be willing to don something out of the box. I could just hope I don’t look too funny wearing this piece. My inclination on such type of style is clear. Please don’t tell me I look funny (because boyf just said it’s too normal). Hoho!
I’ve set the photo a bit warmer to match the overall tone of the look.
Giddy – that’s how I felt when an online shop who sells accessories offered to sponsor me. It’s rare (like really rare) that I get sent with goodies like that, most of them are clothes. Needless to say, I’m a happy kid!
