Benefit Coralista - £23.50
I've been eyeing this up for absolute months, swatching it every time I go to a Benefit counter. So when I visited the Benefit boutique at Spitalfields and the kind lady offered to swatch it on me, I jumped straight into the chair and fell in love with it and ran straight to the till and purchased it! I don't own any blushers like this, and it is a true coral with a slight sheen which acts as like a 2 in 1 blush and highlighter. I use my Topshop blush brush, smiling and applying to the apple of my cheeks and working up to the hairline and then curving round the temple and to the arch of my eyebrow. I also dust the smallest amount down the bridge of my nose, across my forehead and across my chin. The pigmentation is brilliant and can be as soft or as strong as you want the color to be, as its easily buildable. I find this suits me like no other blush I've used before, and looks good whether I've got a bit of a (fake) tan or whether I'm paying homage to Casper the ghost with my natural skin tone. It doesn't have that set 'you've-got-blusher-on' look and just gives me a nice healthy glow. Its hard to comment on its stay power as I have oily skin and generally have to top up my make-up half way during the day no matter what I'm wearing. I think this is amazing blush and will keep it in my Benefit collection along with Bella Bamba, Hoola and Dallas as long as my already stretched purse strings will allow as with all Benefit products, it has a fantastic product inside lovely packaging but it is slightly on the pricey side. Though I am a firm believer, in most cases that you pay for what you get, and I would highly recommend it. Have you tried Coralista? Or any other Benefit blushers? Does the price put you off? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
