Here you can lose your way walking betwwen its once rose-painted houses, up and down its narrow and dark "carruggi", under its arcades where the shops expose outside their goods. Inhabited since the preistoric period, a Roman settlement and medieval fortification, in the XVIII century Bellagio became the place where the Lombrd aristocrats of the time decided to build their villas. Bellaggio is located on the tip of a promontory right there where the lake bifurcates. This wonderful place has seen the passage of many personages who, with the passing time, have become almost legendary: kings amd empresses, writers, poets and musicians. It is 30 km form Como. Now you will feel like to be in a parallel earth here. You definetely will love Bellagio.
