Bell and Ross has announced the enhancement of their AVIATION Collection for 2013 at Basel. The new collection is inspired by three instruments from the cockpit that are highly important to flying: the heading indicator, airspeed and climb. The new models are classified as the BR 01 Heading Indicator, BR 01 AIRSPEED and the BR 01 CLIMB.
The highly precise time pieces will be in limited editions of 999 for each model. The first 99 timepieces available will be packaged in an exclusive collector’s box with the six instruments: BR01 HORIZON, TURN COORDINATOR, ALTIMETER, HEADING INDICATOR, AIRSPEED and CLIMB. The box is designed to resemble a control panel in the cockpit and is laid out in a T-shape. The box is intended to appeal to both aviation lovers and watch collectors at the same time.
Since 2010, the iconic BR 01 collection by Bell and Ross have been designed to resemble an aircraft cockpit. The innovative features have stressed functionality, legibility, precision and water resistance.
Each year since the first models were introduced in 2010, Bell and Ross have presented the high-tech time pieces to afford the wearer to read time in a new way. All the models have been inspired by flight instrumentation. The brand introduced BR 01 COMPASS in 2010, and RADAR in 2011. Three new versions were introduced in 2012: BR01 HORIZON, BR 01 ALTIMETER, and BR 01 TURN COORDINATOR.
