Beetroot Halwa - Ingredients
- Beetroot - 3 cups , Grated
- Whole Milk - 2 cups
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Butter - 1 stick
BEETROOT HALWA RECIPE | HOW TO MAKE BEETROOT HALWA | BEETROOT RECIPES
Method:
- Grate the Beetroot . I used my Food processor to do that . Heat a heavy bottom pan . Add the grated Beetroot and whole milk .
- Cook till the beetroot becomes soft and till the milk evaporated . Add the sugar .
- The contents may now start to become watery and sticky .Add the butter now .
- Cook till all the water content is evaporated and the Halwa reaches a thick consistency . Beetroot Halwa is done .
- Serve the Beetroot Halwa warm . This Beetroot halwa can be stored in the refrigerator for a week and can be used as needed .
