Glaswegian DIY label, Lamppost Records have released a 4-track compilation Under The Wildflowers Volume 1 featuring four fuzzy Scottish bands. A highlight from that compilation is the 3rd track, Beach Volleyball’s “First Floor”. The despondent Paul Banks-ish vocals make the brutal guitars hurt that much more while the uneven rhythm in the drumming keeps you sucked in and just when you think they’d let it all out, they hold back.
