BBC reports that other media reports are saying that state-sanctioned guidelines being rolled out, require all men in North Korea to get the same haircut as leader Kim Jung-un.
In case you are not familiar with the latest North Korean fashions, this involves shaving the area above the ears, and leaving more hair on top, in a fashion described by some in the report as the “Chinese Smuggler Haircut.”
Three Questions That Arise From This Story
1. What about the bald men? Will they have to shave the only hair on the sides and back of their heads and then wear it on top? What if there is not enough hair on their heads to do that? Will they have to find Chinese smugglers to sell them more hair? (Good luck with that, the smugglers already shaved the sides of their heads, according to the report.)
2. Was this Dennis Rodmen’s contribution to the “suggestion box” when visiting North Korea? This all makes sense given his love for crazy haircuts.
3. If North Korea invents a secret time machine, and brings back 1994 Jennifer Aniston and makes her leader, will this cause even more people sporting the “Rachel?” Trick question: you’ve removed 1994 Jennifer Aniston from 1994, so you would expect less people in America sporting the do, even if Supreme Leader Aniston passes a law requiring everyone to get the Rachel in 2014 North Korea, in hopes that it will attract David Schwimmer, so he has work again.
