BATMAN ETERNAL #25 Review

Posted on the 24 September 2014 by Geekasms @geekasms

It has been a couple weeks since my last written review of Batman Eternal but fear you not, I have been reading them.  I did a couple One Shot podcast’s for the last couple.  The series has not slowed down one bit.  This chapter is no exception.  Riots are breaking out all over Gotham based on bogus story Bard made Vale write about.  Batman is getting stretched thin and w are going to thee the rest of the family coming in a but more from the looks of it. Red Robin and Harper have been training off panel and are back in Gotham.  Jason Todd is with Alfred in the hospital after being injected with fear toxin from Hush.  Barbara is upset her father is still in prison (as she should be).  Batman has an encounter with “Hush” and we hear a bit more from the horses mouth about the plan for Batman and the city.

With all the excitement that is going on around town, it could be a bit hard to follow all that is going on.  I have said it before but the writing on the book is superb.  Everything is flowing and keeping myself hooked and along for the ride.  I can’t believe that this has been going on for 25 weeks already.  It feels like only a month ago that the series started.  New consulting members have been added recently as well as more art changes.  This week’s artist is not my favorite.  The pencils along with the colors is not my cup of Joe Chill (thank Troy for that slogan).  It won’t stop me from reading the books. If the plans that Hush has for Batman follow through the way he wants them, we are going to be in for a wild ride.
