BATMAN ETERNAL #10 Review

Posted on the 11 June 2014 by Geekasms @geekasms

We are back in Gotham now and Flacone has Catwoman in his custody.  Just like the movies, when someone has the chance to immediately kill someone, they don’t.  He want’s her gone but he ends up rambling on and possibly lets up an important detail.  Due to the turf war going on, Falcone is making many enemies and that is why Pyg shows up with his Farm Hands to get a little revenge on him.  Pyg ends up getting Falcone tied up and wants to turn him into a Man-Bird for what he did to his factory.

Back at Wayne Manor, Bruce and Alfred are caring for Julia Pennyworth. Bruce has Jason Todd come over and wants Red Hood to follow Batgirl all over South America to make sure she doesn’t do anything rash.  That might mean we get to see a bit more of them in some upcoming issues. Bruce gets word from Alfred about the trouble going on between Pyg and Falcone and how Catwoman is involved in the mix.  Batman busts up the party and saves Catwoman from the mess but the corrupted GCPD made them move out before dealing with Falcone.  Catwoman lets Batman know about what could be a very important plot point and then we see another panel that makes you think for a whole week again.

Big things are happening. It’s these kind of plot twists that make this series so exciting and keep me reading them week after week. Im not too sure what part Julia Pennyworth will continue to play in this story. Who knows if she will become the new Robin or just go off back on her own. Now with the main plot of Falcone, he has been running his mouth for a while now. He has been slowed down a few times far too easily so far. I want to see the rest of the Bat Family show up a bit more but I know we have a ways to go with the story.
