Nananananananananana BATMAN!! Or in this book, Batgirl! Batman 66 #30 gives us a fun adventure staring Batgirl.
In this book, we get a story featuring Barbara Gordon as Batgirl. The villain of choice for this criminal endeavor is Cleopatra Queen of The Nile. We always know that when we stay in the theme of the 60′s Batman show, crime never wins. This story sticks to that. This has to be one of my favorites from the series thus far. There were so many good scenes and Easter eggs in this book, it had me smiling. We get a play on the infamous Bat-slap…at least in my eyes. We get a call out on a certain character near the end that I will leave nameless. I am wondering if they will try to incorporate him/her into a story. Very well done chapter in the Batman 66 line.
Every time I read a book from this series, it never disappoints me. This one just makes me like it more and more. I am reading these digitally on comiXology. They are “digital first” books so you get to stay ahead of the print. The Guided View Native (GVN) feature just enhances the digital experience to the next level. I love it! Pick this one up for sure and let me know what you think about it.
