We are getting close to the end of Batman’s Zero Year. Batman finally reaches the Riddler but after how long and what is he faced with upon his arrival?
The cover of this particular had me thinking of what type of trap did Bats get himself caught up in now? We all know that Edward Nygma is a smart and sly individual and this chapter is showing that he is just that. Now old Brucey is a pretty smart guy himself and his should be able to figure out what Nygma has going on sooner or later. Since Batman, Lucius and Gordon were working together to find where the Riddler was hiding, they were spread out in different parts of the city. I’m not too sure what will happen to Gordon and his team but Batman made the most progress. He uncovered that where they they were in their progress was all a deviation from the Riddler’s true location. Low and behold Batman comes face to face with Nygma himself. What will happen next?
I am ready for this particual chase to be over. I like the iteration of Batman’s Zero Year but it seems to be going on a bit long. I know it will be over soon though. Batman is my favorite series on the shelves by far but sometimes Batman just needs to throw a Batarang at a guy as soon as he see’s him. Of course, we wouldnt know what else he has planned or in place within the rest of Gotham City. I guess that is why I wouldn’t make a good Batman.
Even though I get my weekly Batman fix from reading Batman Eternal, I still love this series the best and I am anxiously waiting for the next arc in the Batman series.
