Trends in bathroom design have begun to reflect our speculations that lighter tones, deep stains, and transitional styles would become the highly favored by homeowners. There are several reasons why this has happend. For one, it’s a shift from previous trends and it creates a breath of fresh air while allowing designers to hold on to certain aspects that are enamored. With the blending of global cultures, eclectic designs have crossed national boundaries. Neutral tones and transitional styles help facilitate this trend, creating spaces filled with many teasers instead of a single dominating focal point!

“In my travels around the world to research design trends, I continue to see a move toward simple and subtle designs in cabinetry as homeowners decide to stay put in their homes longer, rather than sell. With that, variations of greys, blues, browns, and off-whites create a subtle beauty while providing the design flexibility that homeowner’s desire for the long term. Along with that flexibility, there’s a shift toward rooms designed in more thoughtful and purposeful ways, pairing great style with smart function.”

“Some of the most popular looks right now are transitional and modern, and can be found in everyday cabinetry and room designs for every homeowner’s budget.
