Damnit why didn’t I think of this?! I mean seriously! If I had the time and dedication this man has, I could have been BatDad!!
If you haven’t seen these yet, in either individual Vide videos or this compilation, you’re missing out. BatDad, aka Blake Wilson, is the masked vigilante father of four from Atlanta. The videos first found popularity as BatDad would record short Vine videos wearing a Batman mask and speaking in the grissly voice ala Christian Bale’s Batman as he parents his children and teaches them the finer things in life. While the kids seem to enjoy their Dad’s antics, especially his son who starts doing his own Batman voice, I’m not entire sure his wife enjoys as much, and could end up finding himself divorced or giving her a heart attack. (fair trade either way you go really)
The compilation video has blown up to over 5 million views in less than a week!! No doubt we’ll see copy cats soon, trying to nab their own 15 minutes of fame, because like I said above, you look at this, and can only think “damnit! Why didn’t I think of that?!” Then again, not many heroes walking around with thinning hair lines and dark goatees, so I’m not given many options, short of trying to pull of The Master for Classic Doctor Who.
