Golden glows, naturally bronzed cheeks... yeah, I've never had that. Instead I get porcelain skin and faint freckles - which of course I shall EMBRACE!
Being an Irish girl living n England there's not really any chance I'm ever going to be Beyonce. Nevertheless, having tip-ex white skin means that I can pretty much any color lip and eye (apart from blues and oranges really).
So with that small anecdote done and dusted; today I am going to show you the products I use on a day-to-day basis, that work for me and don't make me look like a stripy orange leprechaun.
For base products I normally have to search up market as drugstore / highstreet brands don't carry pale enough shades for me (I know, I really am that pale.) So for foundation I use YSL's Touche Eclait in BR10 -the lightest shade-. I personally LOVE this product as although it gives a light to medium coverage it makes your skin look so youthful and vibrant without looking too glowy or cakey.
After using foundation, I grab my collection concealer in 01 Fair (surprised?) and just use the applicator to target/cover any redness, blemishes and dark circles. I find that this concealer does a great job of hiding any imperfections and blending in with the foundation.
Finally for base I need to powder up as I have very oily skin that tends to be prone to shine. At the moment I am using Stay Matte by Rimmel London, however, I'm actually not that big of a fan of this product as, on me, it mostly, if not always ends up looking just pain odd after a while. Definitely on the look out for a new one, although it does do the job.
If i'm feeling particularly 'jazzy' one day I sometimes use YSL's highlight called 'Palette Metallic Colorama'. It is a stunning highlight that doesn't spam clumpy chunks of glitter on your cheeks but just give you a illuminous sheen.
Finally, for a bit of color I love YSL's blushers. I would 100% recommend them to anyone as all the colours are so buildable. For people with pale skin can lightly apply the pigment on and others with tan or darker skin can be a bit more generous.
