Today is the opening the first-ever bareMinerals Shade Shop in the heart of Soho, NY. A Shade Shop is a new concept shop for the brand and one that really heroes their award-winning complexion products and brings their California heritage to life.
The shop is absolutely stunning and is an open and airy, gallery-like bi-level space that utilizes raw, natural elements such as wood, polished concrete and repurposed brass fixtures to create a warm and refined atmosphere. One wall is dedicated to portraits featuring women (both models and the brand's employees) with responses to the question "What makes you feel beautiful?" inviting the community to #bareyourself and share their answers as well.
The loft-level floor of the Shade Shop—opening this Fall— will be used exclusively for special events and community activities such as artistry workshops, girlfriend parties and inspired conversations with Leslie Blodgett, Creator of bareMinerals, throughout the shop's two year duration.
