Barbie at Toys R Us (Sponsored Post)

By Ashley Brooke, Kewpie83 @KewpieDoll83

This is a sponsored post.  Basically, all that means is that I am required to put certain product links in my post.  All opinions are my own.  For information on why I may do posts like this, check out my ‘about me’ page.

Before we get to the Toys R Us exclusives, I was challenged by Lunchbox to create a fun animation based around Barbie.  I created this cute little video.  It’s not the best stop motion and I’m sure there are youngsters out there who could whip something much better out in the same time it took me to make this, but overall?  I like how it turned out.  It was quite fun, too!  It features Barbie’s Party Planning Tips.

With the holiday shopping train in full swing, here’s a quick update on what you can find exclusively at Toys R Us.  If you see something you like, you can ship many of your purchases straight to the store for easy pick up!

This Ken Fashion Doll Gift Set seems like a great starter set for the person who may not have a Ken doll.  It includes one Ken doll and a handful of interchangeable outfits.  Similarly, you can also find a super cute Teresa Gift Set that features a doll and multiple outfits.

The last few years have given us many small and lackluster Barbie cars.  This RC Barbie Corvette and Doll Gift Set looks pretty neat, though!

The Barbie Favorites Fashion 6-Pack might be my favorite exclusive of the bunch.  I love the number of accessories it comes with!  Paired with a basic Barbie, this fashion pack should help inspire active play.

The Barbie Be a Real Fashion Designer kit isn’t for everyone.  I have personal experience with this kit.  This kit allows you to design five different dresses sized to fit your Barbie perfectly.  Included are a number of different elements that will help your designs come alive.  It’s not my cup of tea, (I wasn’t blessed with an eye for fashion design), but for the right person?  This could be a winner.   Keep in mind this set doesn’t include a doll.

When it comes to Barbie play sets, I am very picky.  This is the Malibu House, not to be confused with the Dreamhouse or the Toys R Us exclusive Shopping Mall.  Call me crazy, but I love the fact that there is no ridiculously hard to put together elevator in the Malibu house.  Give me stairs any day!  One neat feature is that one living space includes a TV that is powered by your (not included) smartphone.
