Bank Of America: All Dogs Go To Heaven So Can Bank's Go To Hell?

By Kelly Speechless @KellySpeechless
Bank of America continues to disgrace it's loyal customers by now attempting to reach into the pockets of small business owners by charging a $16 a month fee for NOT using your debit or charge card. That's right!Starting Feb 27th they are now charging each Business Economy Checking account $16/mos if you do NOT spend more than $250/mo using their debit or charge cards. They only way around this is maintaining a DAILY balance of $3000 OR and average monthly balance of $10,000.The fact that banks use our hard earned savings to lend to others is 100% acceptable but to demand that their customers also pay them monies for the same dollars they are already turning a profit on is absolutely ridiculous! How can you justify squeezing the very establishments that help contribute to their Debit Service Coverage Ratio? - This is completely unacceptable! Help stand up to Bank of America and let them know that pressuring small business owners is not acceptable!

Greetings,

I'm writing to express my sincere concerns over Bank of America's decision to charge American small business owners a $16 a month fee for NOT using their debit cards or charge cards when making purchases.
You heard it once before and you will hear it again - The American people bailed out Bank of America during a financial crisis that the your bank helped create. You paid zero dollars in federal income tax in 2010. And now your bank is profiting billions in profits almost every quarter.
How can you justify squeezing the very establishments that help contribute to your Debit Service Coverage Ratio? - This is completely unacceptable!
I am rejecting any claims made by Bank of America that these fees are necessary in any way.
Please, do the right thing. Reverse your decision to charge American small businesses $16 each month for NOT using their debit cards to make purchases.
Sincerely,
[Your name]
