Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

Okay, I know the name may scare you... but it's really not that bad when you consider how sinful banana bread usually is.

Banana Chocolate Chip Bread {with cinnamon crumb topping}
Ingredients
6 tbsp unsalted butter, softened2 ripe bananas, mashed1/2 c light brown sugar1 tsp vanilla1 large egg2 cups whole wheat flour1 1/2 tsp baking powder1/4 tsp salt 1/2 cup skim milk 3/4 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
Crumb Topping
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted2 tbsp light brown sugar1 tbsp granulated sugar1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp flour (all-purpose is the best for this)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl, beat together butter, brown sugar, banana, vanilla, and egg.
In a smaller bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt.  Add milk and chocolate chips.
Mix batter together until everything is combined.
For the topping: stir together melted butter, sugars, and cinnamon; mix in the flour until well-combined and then set aside.
Spray loaf pan with non-stick baking spray.
Fill pan with batter.
Add crumb topping mixture to the top, breaking it up with your hands, and spreading it evenly across the top.
Bake 40 - 50 minutes.
I left some of the topping off of the middle so you could see the bread without it, too.
