Bad Apple Nail Polishes

By Iheartmexo @iheartmexoxo

I think I told you guys a while back how much I have been getting into painting my nails and nail art, which was something that I was never bothered about but always liked it when others did it. I've got a pretty big nail polish collection for someone who doesn't paint their nails regularly! I've some nail polishes and nail wraps to review today by Bad Apple Cosmetics*, a UK based company that creates nail polishes and nail wraps that are free of chemicals. The nail colours are actually inspired by 70's cars which I thought was very unique.  I've been using these for the past month and I am relatively new to the brand, so I was pretty excited to see how these worked. Bad Apple Nail PolishesBad Apple Nail PolishesBad Apple Nail PolishesBad Apple Nail PolishesI have 4 nail polishes and 4 nail wraps. The nail polishes are really great quality and I love the bottle shape. They're very opaque in 2 coats and layer up very nicely. They also dry quite fast which I always prefer in nail polishes because seriously who wants to wait for 10 minutes? The brush is great which makes the application really, quite easy. I usually test nail polishes without a top coat to see if they chip or not and these lasted quite a while. The chipping is very minimal and the consistency of the formula is just perfect. The cherry red coloured nail (They didn't have a name) is my favourite! It's such a pretty color and so opaque as well. This is a perfect summer nail color and I can't wait to wear this everyday in summer! The 3D nail polishes are pretty amazing. They look gorgeous and these are colours that I would never pick up. I am glad to have these shades because they're quite different to anything I've used before and the metallic, two tone finish to it gorgeous. In just 2 layers, you get a lovely finish. I think these maybe be called 'Arlington, Russett, and Arlet'. I am not sure because it didn't say on the bottle but I tried my best to match them up on the website.
Now on to the nail wraps. This was the first time I ever tried nail wraps and I was a little 'scared' only because everyone made it out that it was quite difficult to apply them. The first time I used them, I have to say it went horribly wrong (because it was my first time). After a week or so I thought lets try again and surprising it was great. I sat there for a while and carefully applied them after reading the instructions. You just buff your nails and apply the sticker according to the shape of your nail and peel it off. They looked quite nice but I think I do need to practice more! I liked that they didn't start to peel off or anything like that! I haven't used all 4 yet but my favorite is 'flutter by' which is the one with the butterflies. The nail wraps comes with a matching nail file as well as a cuticle stick.
