Backyard Easter Eggroll and Picnic

I would have considered myself super lucky had my name appeared on the invitees' list for this years " White House Easter Egg Roll "!!! I tried last year, this year, but no luck so far. Even though we don't celebrate Easter, we go to the National Cathedral DC each year on Easter Sunday. This has been a tradition for a decade now and this year we decided to start another tradition of hosting " Easter Eggroll " in our backyard. Since it was our first year, it was just Riri and Mommy playing host and guest in a trial party and I think "we faired well! ". So next time it will be better and merrier with more guests!!! What if our Easter Eggroll is not as extensive and lavish as that of The White House, we still have bunnies, carrots, eggs, snacks and a matchy-matchy mommy-daughter outfit.
Letting you in on a little secret, this was an impromptu backyard picnic. First came the coordinating dresses, then came the picnic-idea perception. Ever since I bought the two dresses, I was craving to share it with you guys, hence this backyard picnic setup. Talking about which I picked up the crate turned perfect-picnic-table at my local Giants, they were generous enough to let me have it for free. The size worked just fine for the two of us and for husband too, post-photoshoot. We had a blast eating outside, hunting for and opening the eggs, reading books, devouring our club-sandwiches and fresh berries and carrots of course.
