These days I don't really want to get out of bed, much less to get dressed and put makeup on.
I am now 33 weeks pregnant, I can't put my shoes on myself, I can't walk without taking deep breaths and I just want to sit all of the time. Basically I am just big and uncomfortable and I'm suddenly seeing a big change on the scales. Yikes! The last two months are never fun. EVER.
And to top it all off, the temperatures have dropped drastically (4 degrees C / 38 degrees F) and that meant I had to wear a winter coat for the first time this season. I tend to just wear a light jacket and sweater, but it was just too cold and windy to not bundle up.

Be Maternity Seamless Leggings & Rain Boot Liner Socks from Target
We still haven't had snow here in the Washington, DC area, but we had flurries and some rain this weekend. Funny thing is, it may be cold, but I get warm....fast!
This is the most comfortable and warmest attire I could pull together. Like I said, I'm done shopping (for myself) until after the baby is born, so I'm working with what I have. I did get some proper maternity leggings a few weeks ago because the regular ones where cutting me off mid-belly and it was sort of painful.
Tonight we are staying home and having dinner with friends, then probably in bed early. I don't want to go anywhere and just the thought of having to wear heels or trying to pull up tights over my belly is unappealing to me right now.
And that, my friends is how I'm signing off 2012 - big, round and frantically nesting.
Happy New Year to everyone especially to all my expectant mom friends and bloggers due in 2013...hang tight, we are nearly there!
Keep warm AND stylish.
See you on the other side!

I was wondering if I could have permission to use the picture of your belly and boots on my blog. Of course, I will give all the photo credits neccessary and also include links to your blog.
