We've been waiting and watching for weeks. On the edge of our seats waiting for the arrival of a very special baby giraffe. Proud mama, Autumn, gave birth to the baby Monday night at 11:45 pm. The vet will arrive this morning to give the baby a full physical and find out if it's a boy or a girl. I've got my fingers cross that there will be a naming contest for this cute little one.The public has kept a close eye on the pregnancy of Autumn. A few weeks ago a camera was installed in her enclosure and the stream was broadcast live on the internet. You can see the new baby live on EarthCam.
