Byron is one of my favorite places to go to when only a proper hamburger will ‘hit the spot’. Hey, Byron even states on their menu that they serve proper hamburgers. What is a proper hamburger you might ask? Well, a proper hamburger can mean totally different burger to each one of us. To me a vision of a proper burger is based on simple, but tasty hamburger eaten in LA at Johnny Rockets or at In-N-Out Burger. Hamburgers as good as those are not often found outside America. Byron bases its burgers on no-fuss, a little bit messy and good-quality American hamburgers. At Byron you get exactly that!
Byron’s burgers are always fresh tasting and served pink (unless you request otherwise). There usually is one limited edition hamburger on their menu. At the moment it’s B-Rex – a dinosaur-sized whopper of a burger dedicated to Jurassic Park (the movie). As a fan of movies and hamburgers I had to have my bite of a B-Rex.
Take a load of that! A 6oz hamburger patty topped with an onion ring, crispy smoked bacon and two slices of American cheese. It gets better! Sliced pickles, finely chopped white onion, BBQ sauce and mayonnaise are added to make B-Rex a monster-burger. Of course every dinosaur burger needs a little bit of a bite and in B-Rex you can rely on jalapeños to deliver that final kick to make B-Rex worthy of a Byronosaurus.

Oh, did I mention their milkshakes are pretty good as well! And all the other burgers! Sometime a no-fuss Cheeseburger is the perfect way to go. And at Byron it is delicious – simply the best!
