Ayushmann Khurrana: Lucky To Act And Sing In My FilmsAyushmann Khurrana, the television anchor, actor and singer, who made his Bollywood debut with Shoojit Sircar’s Vicky Donor, says he is lucky to be a rare breed of Bollywood actors who act as well as sing in their films.

His debut film Vicky Donor was a smash hit which went on to win the National Award for the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.

In an interview the 28 year old said: “I am fortunate that I am getting an opportunity to sing in my films. There are hardly any singer-actor or actor-singer in Bollywood.”

The charming actor from Chandigarh sang Pani Da Rang in his debut film Vicky Donor and it was highly appreciated by the people. After singing Pani Da Rang, Ayushmann has sung two songs for his second film Nautanki Saala – Tu Hi Tu and Saadi Galli.

The song Saadi Galli has been composed and sung by the actor himself whereas Tu Hi Tu has been composed by Mikey McCleary.

When asked about the music of Nautanki Saala, the actor said: “Above all, the music of Nautanki Saala is very good. On one hand, there are new-age quirky tunes given by Mikey McCleary and on the other hand there is a Rahat Fateh Ali Khan song, which is very different.”
