Former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Ayaz Amir on Friday left his party and joined Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).
While addressing a press-conference in Chakwal, he offered his unconditional support for the PTI candidates for NA-60, NA-61 and the provincial assembly seats in Chakwal district. He also said that he is pulling out from the election race himself.
He also said that PML-N is unaware of ground realities.
The differences between Amir and the PML-N escalated after the columnist was not awarded a party ticket.
