Tick-Tock , Tick-Tock I have been sitting here doodling and watching the clock 
…. This is what happens when I have all day to work on my finals; I clean, I daydream, I design logos, and browse Pinterest, favorite blogs; Shanty-2-Chic, Peanut Butter Fingers, One Sweet Heart, to name a few, I bounce around from homework assignments to Googling random ideas that pop into my head. “Dog Food Bins” was one Google subject. By the way I think a found a winner on Amazon: Dog Food Bin.
I think about all the things I have been doing that I planned on sharing with you, but just haven’t gotten around to yet….
Something else that is distracting me is, I already have four new clients scheduling horseback riding lessons for the month of September. This makes me —>wildly excited<—. I have a box filled with clients, old and new lesson plans, books and other horsey things that is calling to me. I use this box to organize, plan lessons and get inspiration for my clients. Ok, I am not organized, but it makes me feel organized…
Y’all, I know I sound crazy, but I am in love with this collection I have going on. Ok, yeah, that is coo coo, but if I take a look back on this year I get so happy and can really appreciate the provision God has had on my life.
Here is timeline of my introduction back into the horse world (they may not make sense to you, but with each event was another milestone for me):
November: I randomly decided to visit Whispers of Hope Horse Farm to see if I could volunteer. With little knowledge of me or my background, they allow me to come in and work with their horses.
January: A new volunteer named Carlie shows up to Whispers of Hope. She is a little younger than me but trains horses. She opened me up to natural horsemanship and really gave me a lot of confidence to stay in the equine industry!
April: Mary Elizabeth asked me if I would be interested in giving riding lessons at Whispers. I nervously agreed.
May: I wanted some more credibility to give lessons, so I decided to see if I could get certified as an instructor through the Certified Horsemanship Association. I was certified as a level 3 out of 4 in both english and western. After doubting myself and my ability, this put me on cloud 9 praising Jesus the whole way home.
June/July: Mary Elizabeth asked me to be camp director for the summer camp, and my schedule just so happened to work out perfectly. I learned SO much as camp director!
This is a short summary of events, but writing them out helps me to look back and see God’s hand in all of it.
If you don’t journal, I suggest taking a short amount of time to write down some monumental moments in your life in a timeline fashion. You can include changes that are good or bad, so you can look back and see where you have come, and what you have gone through.
Because I don’t want to leave you photo-less: Marley’s shed-fest and creepy smile. We use the FURminator and love it, if you are interested.
