While you’re groom is already well versed the art of savvy budgeting – he did get a great deal on an engagement ring if he bought from us, or used our diamond education series – your wedding expense adventures are just beginning. And while average wedding costs are easy to find on the national, state and even local wedding, chances are they’ll leave you with your jaw on the ground asking “How Much?” But, just like we tell gents that each engagement ring budget is individual (no 2 month salary “rule” here), we’re telling you that your wedding budget depends solely on your decisions. You should never feel obligated to spend more than you’re comfortable with (within reason – a party for your friends, family and then some does involve some degree of expense). However, it is useful to have a benchmark – just to know the average cost of wedding vendors. This way you can realistically hunt for bargains that work for your budget and your wedding (ans spot quotes that are way too high).
