I thought I'd give you a little peek into the contents of my everyday makeup bag now that we're into Autumn, with my makeup looking even more minimal these days as I've been embracing neutral browns and the tiniest hint of bronzer to give my super pale skin a bit more life in the colder months.
Now on to the makup..
I'll sound like a broken record soon as I'm still loving and religiously using the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation for a healthy looking glow, Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder to combat my oily t-zone and MUA Stick Concealer to hide dark circles and cover up any spots on my face. I have been constantly reaching for the MUA Mosaic Bronzer in Sunkissed Glow as a contour shade and all over bronzing powder and the doughball that I am forgot to include a blusher (doh!) but right now my favorite has been Thrrrob from Benefit as it is a lovely baby pink shade which is perfect for giving you that flushed cheek look without resembling someone who has been out in the cold for too long. To finish off my cheeks I have been using the Topshop Sunbeam highlighter as I've been loving the golden shade for Autumn and it also compliments the bronzer which is great. For the eyes I have been faithfully using my no-name eyelash curlers to actually make people think I have visible lashes (I think a new pair from No7 is on the cards when I have another voucher to spend) and the MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork has been a great base and all over lid color for those early morning makeup rushes. When I have that little bit more time to spend on eyeshadow I always go back to the MUA Undressed Palette and have been gravitating towards the shimmery champagne and bronze shades for a nice and natural look, lining my top lash line with the Miss Sporty Studio Lash liquid eyeliner and my bottom waterline with my trusty MUA brown eyeliner pencil. For mascara I have been using both the Natural Collection LashLength and Soap & Glory Thick and Fast mascaras to give my lashes some much needed life, with the two of them adding plenty of length and volume hooray. Lastly, I have been keeping my lips very neutral and have quickly fallen in love with MAC Hue (hooray for blog sales!) as it is just the perfect 'your lips but better' shade.
I realize that just turned into a big makeup ramble so if you've made it this far then you deserve a gold star and a pat on the back!
