August Favourites

By Behindtheseclosedeyes @theseclosedeyes
Here we are at the end of yet another month and can you believe that we are into September already?! I have no idea where August went as it really doesn't feel as though we've been home from Turkey for a whole month already, but alas here we are in September and getting closer to the start of Autumn which makes me happy as I'm very much looking forward to wearing snuggly scarves and boots again without getting weird looks! This month I have been sticking to a more minimal look makeup wise  due to the slight tan on my face and I can promise you that each product has been getting a lot of love lately as they have been perfect for creating a natural and girly look.

I had to include two blushers as they have both been my most reached for over the past month for different reasons. I have been using Benefit Hervana as my blush color as it gives such a pretty and natural flush to the cheeks, and I have used MUA's English Rose Mosaic Blush as a cheek highlight as the two compliment each other so much. I have been ditching foundation quite a lot this month and instead opting for something lighter with Garnier's BB Cream being my base of choice as it gives great coverage and leaves a lovely finish on my skin.
Moving on to eyes.. I have definitely rekindled my love for the MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork as it is a lovely neutral color and provides a great and long-lasting base for eyeshadows. My eyeshadow of choice has been the MUA Pearl Eyeshadow in shade 24 as it is such an unusual mix of bronze, taupe and pink and is perfect for both a neutral day look or a more intense evening look. Finally I have been loving the Barry M Green Lip Paint which is one of those magical green to pink formulas that adapts to your lip colour, and gives my paler lips a new lease of life with a more vibrant looking pink which I have been absolutely loving (a proper lip swatch will probably follow).
